This is a fun little cartoon I found on youtube. It takes the soliloquy performed by King Claudius and shows various images to go along with it. This should help with some of the more difficult lines in this part of the play.

In this clip we can see the famous scene where Hamlet is in the grave yard with his friend Horatio. We see in this cartoon clip of the Animaniacs how the speakers use the original rhetoric and how it is translated.

Now its your turn

Many people who read this play find themselves frustrated with the character Hamlet and how he does not take direct action in avenging his fathers death. In this next clip we see how the little boy in the movie The Last Action Hero is frustrated with the story of Hamlet so he decides to create an alternate story to the play. After watching this clip write in about two paragraphs what kinds of things you would like to change about the play.
